Specifically, we are committed to the following:
- Training all our employees on their roles and responsibilities regarding HSE and ensuring they are well aware of the hazards associated with their tasks.
- Managing waste to ensure that any waste generated by our operations and processes is stored, treated and disposed in an environmentally friendly manner.
- Setting out safe work procedures to all the activities we are involved in to ensure the procedures are followed in order that tasks are carried out in the safest manner.
- Detecting and correcting all unsafe conditions and practices and taking prompt corrective actions to the same.
- Ensure an alcohol and drug free workplace together with policy to ensure compliance.
- Being prepared to respond to emergencies.
- Adequate provision of and usage of personal equipment (PPE) and other safety equipment by all our workers in order to control or eliminate hazards associated with lack of usage of such equipment.
- Controlling and managing spills.
- Creating awareness to our neighbors and third parties to the dangers resulting from unsafe acts and conditions and helping them to recognize how their actions influence HSE.
- Ensuring that all accidents, incidents and any unsafe conditions are reported in a timely manner and such accidents and incidents are investigated and closed out so that preventive measures may be applied to prevent recurrence.
- Ensuring safety audits are conducted regularly for every location as part of the company safety program to review HSE performance and other HSE related issues.
